who knew....

Who knew waiting wouldn't be more than 2 days, since I last posted. :)

Yesterday we gave birth to a little boy, 3565 grams and 52 cm. We had a planned home birth and it was amazing, and SOOOO nice to be at home already when it was all over.

Two midwifves attended, my husband, my friend who is a doula, my sister was there and J. And me of course.:)

It went so much faster than last time. Just two hours before our son was born I was preparing dinner...I know it sounds crazy but that's what I did.

And like last time it all ended in the bathroom, this time kneeling though. And the proud father, like last time, helped the newborn into this world and family (catching him as he came out) and cut the umbilical cord. My doula friend made prints on papper of the tree if life off of the placenta afterwords. Beautiful, I hope I can post a picture here so you can see.

All in all, a perfect birthday :) I feel more alive than ever before, considering how little I have slept these last 24 hours....I think I'm high on hormones :) Have a good weekend!

wait.....

Well for all of you who don't think I blogg anymore, the answer is....well sort of not. I just don't have the time. More true is the fact that I haven't had much energy since my back problems started in april. (I did actually post not long ago but it just didn't show up on my blog...very strange)

And soon after that I found out I was pregnant (hurra!) ...so now that is what I'm waiting for. My due date is in a week (Dec 17) and preparations are more or less all done. It's not as frantic this time around, more laid back which is nice.

We have a crib, clothes, cloth diapers...more or less all we need, so there is no stress around buying things.

I just hope I don't over-carry(?) by a week like last time.
